England disrespectful: Jones
Japanese coach Eddie Jones criticizes England and Tuliagi
Eddie Jones is ruffling feathers in England
Eddie Jones has decided to create an issue in the English camp with some controversial comments overnight.
Jones claimed that England were disrespectful during their surprise victory over New Zealand.
"England are still very young," Jones told The Daily Star.
"If they can keep it together and go on and pick up 600-odd caps then they could potentially have a very good team.
"But there were already signs of arrogance at the weekend with their centre (Tuilagi) walking over the line."
"That's disrespectful to the world champions - and if they don't control that kind of thing they will not go forward as a team."
"You don't want to see that sort of thing creep into the game because it's not good for rugby."
The comments will immediately be linked to the disastrous 2011 Rugby World Cup campaign which brought about wholesale changes and ended the tenure of coach Martin Johnson. Tuilagi was again one of the culprits during that tour, jumping from a ferry into the harbor.
Whether the English react at all to the claims remains to be seen but it appears the mind games have started early on.
